Take a Break And Relax – That’s How You Will Be More Productive And Have Less Stress

The truth is that there is no actual stress or anxiety in the world; it’s your thoughts that create these false beliefs. You can’t package stress, touch it, or see it. There are only people engaged in stressful thinking. – Wayne Dyer

Physical problems are more often the result of psychological problems. Stress, unhealthy food and no relaxing time have a big impact on your health. Today we have a lot of pressure from everywhere and from ourselves too. The pressure of keeping up with the latest news, things and trends. The pressure of making a career, having a family and earning as much money as possible.

With all that pressure on us, nobody should wonder that burn-out is very common.

We underestimate psychological health problems like stress, depression and pressure. When you’re stressed, your whole body tightens, blood pressure rises and your heart beat too. That’s not healthy for you in the long run.

But we don’t learn how to treat or handle ourselves and our body to be healthier and more productive.

The break during work is important for your productivity. The long hours we’re working are not at all the most effective way for humans and their body. We can’t concentrate 8 hours a day, we cannot be productive 8 hours a day.

Experiments have shown that working less is increasing the productivity, happiness and decreasing illnesses.

Something you can do to relax, even though you’re not working less:

Meditate

Meditation is an instrument to relax your body and especially your mind. We have a lot of thoughts the whole day, every day. Our brain sometimes needs a break to relax and let go.

You can start meditating 5 minutes a day (you can invest 5 minutes a day in your body, right?).

Just sit down comfortably, close your eyes and concentrate on your breath. If your mind starts to wander, don’t be mad at yourself, just focus yourself again on your breath and relax. Nobody can stop his mind from wandering. Breathe out your stress, worries and strains.

Never ever let your work be more important than your health (psychological health too). Without your health, you can’t do anything anymore in life. When you’re sick, anything else doesn’t matter, because you’re not able to do anything.

When you’re sick or even dying, your money and your work can’t help you anymore.

All the money in the world can’t buy you back good health. – Reba McEntire

Relax your body from time to time. Afterwards you’ll be more focused and productive than before.
