Why Aren’t We All Living Our Dreams and Risk Everything for It?

Why aren’t we all living our dreams and risk everything for it? Because we have the fear of failure deep within us.

Who didn’t feel horrible when he got a bad grade on a test? Every fear we have goes deep down to the fear of failure. Do you also want to start your own business or make your dreams come true, but you’re too afraid to tell anybody?

I have that feeling too. I’m afraid of what people would think of me when I’m releasing my blog posts. I was so afraid that I thought about writing this blog for months before I finally published a post.

I was always so afraid of what people from my hometown would think of me. I even did stuff just because to impress those people which I don’t even like or are my friends. I’m not even living in that town anymore but sometimes I’m still thinking about what they would think of me.

Don’t let someone else’s opinion of you become your reality. – Les Brown

This fear of failure or rejection keeps us from being ourselves and living our dreams. We only have this life and most of the people are living for the others, whom don’t even care about them.

Think about it: you’re always thinking about yourself: what to wear, how you look and what the others would think of you. Do you still have time to think about the others? How they look, what they wear and what you think of them? No, you don’t think about the others as much as you think about yourself.

Most of the people don’t even notice your clothes or if you wear makeup or not.

So, don’t give a shit about other people’s opinions. They don’t matter.

What matters is you and how you want to live your life. Nothing else matters.

What you can do

If you see a good-looking guy or girl, just go and say hi. Make a compliment.

Take a risk and publish your stuff. Be proud of the things you’re doing.

Go out and enjoy your life and this beautiful world.

You’ll always miss 100% of the shots you don’t take. – Wayne Gretzky

And if you fail or get rejected: take it easy. You will learn the most from your failures and rejections.

You can either win or learn.
